Welcome to your new class blog. Here, you will be expected to answer novel-related questions and comment on others’ posts. Remember the expectations we discussed in class:
1. Comments should be limited to your thoughts on the novel.
2. You are expected to make one unique comment on the reading, and one comment on another student’s post.
3. Comments should contain three references to the novel itself (quote from the story's characters, for example), and you should always include the page reference for that part of the story to which you are referring. General comments like “I liked this chapter” and “Great point” will not be accepted.*
4. Always exercise caution. If you believe your words may be taken offensively while commenting on another student’s post, it is best not to say it.
5. You must submit your posts by 8:30 P.M. of the day it is assigned.
